In memory of the most amazing man in my life, Tommy Eardley. Born 13th of August 1937, passed away 4th of September 2006, aged 69. I miss you more than anything Grandad.
You were an inspiration to everyone Grandad, including me. You never let me down and were always there for me when i needed you, and i can't thank you enough.
On the 4th of September 2006, God took you to live with him and the angels in heaven, I know this was far too soon for you to go, but I knew you were at peace, you weren't suffering anymore. You were 69 years old, and had been diagnosed with cancer, it had devastated the whole family, so i think everyone was happy that you weren't suffering anymore. You didn't deserve anything like that Grandad, it must be true that God really does take the best!
There isn't one single day where i don't think of you, but I know that your up there looking over me, guiding me, just like you always did. I know you will be forever shining over Grandma - Geraldine, my Dad - Paul, Uncle Jimmy and Uncle Steven, Josh, Jake and Me, aswell as the rest of your family and friends.
I made you one promise, and that was to always look after my Grandma, your wonderful, beautiful wife. I know, as much as anyone, that she is always thinking of you, and loves you dearly, just like the whole of your family does. You made her more than happy. I will keep that promise I made to you, dont worry Grandad.
I love you more than anything in this world Grandad, and i want to say thank you for everything you ever did for me. God took you from us far too soon, but those 15 years of my life that i spent with you couldn't have been made happier when i was with you and Grandma.
Sweet dreams Grandad, rest in peace. Until we meet again, i love you forever + ever,

Tommy, once again Christmas day is almost over and there was once again an empty space where you should have been. You are missed each and every day but more so at Christmas...
Its been a really difficult few months, and I wish you were here to lend your helping hand and your advice, Jim and Elaine are amazing and doing all they can to help and hopefully things will come together good in the end...
Hope you have had a lovely christmas day in heaven with your family and friends whilst still shining and surrounding us all down here with your love, especially Geraldine who so so misses you.

Christmas Wishes
Darling Tommy, wishing you were here with us for Christmas, its not the same without you. The kids miss you so much as do we all. Geraldine loved the present we got for her, the canvas print of Christie Josh and Jake.
We have a wreath to bring you, but you know wot Christie and Josh are like for time keeping lol so been unable to bring it today, will call in the next couple of days to your resting place to bring it for you along with the card we have for you.

4th Angelversary
Tommy, I cant believe its 4yrs ago since I last saw you, just hours before you passed away. Time moves on we all know, but the pain of losing you never goes away. You are missed so very much, your wonderful ways an your love for your family.
I'll call to see Geraldine later with some flowers and a card for her to let her know that you havent been forgotten and you never will.
The kids miss you more than you will ever know Tommy but you would be so proud of how they are doing, Joshua passed his GCES's an has enrolled at college to do Art and Design, and I am sure you will be with him each step of the way. Christie passed her A Levels but is now undecided on what she wants to do, again I am sure you will be with her each step of the way, guiding both of them along the right path as you did when you were here.

Missed you lots on Friday, Josh had his school prom, Tommy you would have been smiling from ear to ear, he looked so handsome an grown up, took him round to see Geraldine, I was filling up, had tears in my eyes thinkin how cruel life is, you should have been there to see him too, but I know your with him always and will have seen him still, just wish you were here to see him physically and give him the hugs you used to !!

Grandad, I miss you more than words can say! I find it so hard to come on here because everytime I do I break down in tears, just like now.
I'm 18 now, an adult! I wish you were with me to celebrate my birthday, things will never be quite the same without you. Josh is 16 in 5 months, & Thomas will be 1 in 5 weeks! We're all growing up so fast!
Grandma also misses you an awful lot! Along with my dad, Uncle Jimmy and Uncle Stephen, and every other member of your family and friends.
I love and miss you more than I could ever explain, you'll always be my shining star. Goodnight and god bless Grandad, Rest in Peace and keep shining down on us and guiding us through life.

You were missed
You were missed very much on Wednesday, Christie's 18th bday, but your spirit was with us. We talked about you and how things were when you found out you was going to be a grandad and how delighted you were when you got a little grandaughter. Wishing things could have been very different and you were there with all the family helping to celebrate with Christie, but I know you are watching over your family all the time.

I Miss You
I can't believe its been 3 years Grandad. I miss you more than words can say.
Me and Josh are all grown up now! I'll be 18 soon and i'm starting my second year in college, whilst Josh has just turned 15 and is now starting his final year in school! I passed all my college exams, i know you will be proud, i know Grandma is :)
Thomas is getting big now, he'll be 6 months old next week! Its such a shame he will never get to meet you, he would be so proud to call you his Grandad, as we all are! But i will make sure he knows about you & about how you were the nicest person anyone could have known!
I'll be going to see Grandma tomorrow, she misses you so much! When i see her, she is always speaking about you. The other day we were speaking about when we & Josh were younger and things like when we used to bet on the horse racing, and whoever won - me or Josh - you would give 20p :) I miss those days so much!
Right now i just want a big hug from you so much! Everyone loves & misses you more and more each day, its so difficult without you here. Jake is always speaking about you, he will also be very proud to call you his Grandad! :)
Sleep tight Grandad, i love and miss you with all my heart and always will. I'll never forget you! Rest in peace, until we meet again.
